Hi, I’m Rafael — or Rafy, as the locals call me. I’m a lifelong ocean lover, bodyboarder, certified lifeguard, certified diver, driven by a love for photography and the ocean and proud father of a beautiful Culebrense daughter.

Born and raised in Puerto Rico, I caught my first wave in Culebra at the age of 12, and that moment sparked a lifelong passion for the ocean and protecting our environment. After working for over 16 years in Puerto Rico’s tourism industry — first in Vieques, and now for the past 10 years in Culebra — I’ve come to know and love this island deeply. I truly believe this is home for life.

With every tour, my goal is to share more than just stunning views and sea turtles — I want you to connect with the heart of Culebra, its history, and the natural treasures that make this place so special.
